Action of Mayday: Zombie World is a really awkwardly-named first person shooter for the iOS and Android platforms. In practice it’s almost more like a rail shooter, in that you don’t really move around, you are in a fixed location that may or may not move on its own. However, you have full spherical control as far as aiming at zombies, and you also have danger from 360 degrees. Read on for some tips and tricks for Action of Mayday: Zombie World!
You have many different weapon types in this game. The pistol, the one you’ll likely find yourself using the most, has short range and moderate damage. The machine guns have better range and fire quickly but do light damage. Sniper rifles fire slowly and do massive damage. Rocket launchers just blow everything up.
Plus, there are many different “main weapons” such as Uzzis (automatic pistols), assault rifles and shotguns. Even then you will have to pick the right type of gun for the mission, and it differs no matter what the mission is. Upgrade your favorite weapons to increase the damage they do, the ammo they can hold and the accuracy as well as the range and the reload time.
Pay attention to where attacks are coming from. You will be able to tell if you are getting attacked from off screen by the red glow that pops up to the left or to the right of you. Shift to that direction immediately so that you can kill the threat before it kills you. Ideally, though, look around beforehand so that you don’t have to let it get to that point; shooting the zombies before they even get that far is optimal.
Need to do some farming for the standard modes? Play in endless mode for a good chance at not only improving your skills but earning lots of coins. If you want to earn more diamonds for free, though, you have to have a redeem code (usually given away via special promotions), and then enter it. Check the Facebook or Twitter of the developer for a good chance at special codes.
If you are having trouble on a current stage, go back to any old stage and play it over again. You can still farm for the same amount of coins as you did the first time that you played it, only now it should be even easier depending on if you purchased any upgrades or not.
