6) Earn the highest score possible to get the most coins that you can.
The higher your score is, the more coins you earn as a bonus for beating the stage. The faster you finish, the more coins you earn and the higher your score. Also, pick up as many coins as possible, because that’s simply an added bonus.
5) Stock up on the free gems without even spending any money.
When you complete all five of one type of race in one episode, you’ll earn bonus gems. Every time that you beat the new bird or pig in the one on one race, you’ll earn bonus gems – the harder the race, the bigger the gem bonus. Also, once you unlock the three challenges per stage, beat them all in order to earn a gem bonus.
4) Smash into the barrier during certain races for some extra help.
This helps during the fruit rounds because it slows down your cart, making it easier to get more fruit. During other races, this helps because it sometimes actually puts you in a better racing position, plus it allows you to avoid the massive slowdown associated with a normal crash (spinning out). It only works if your acceleration doesn’t suck, though.

3) Conserve your energy by having as many characters as possible, and using them at any time.
Each character has only five energy at a time, but try to unlock each character as quickly as possible, because you effectively get five more energy just by having one more character. Plus, every character’s special boost has a different type of effectiveness – some speed you up, while some attack the racer behind you or in front of you.
2) Use old episodes for mass coin and gem collecting.
Old episodes of the game will allow you to collect coins by racing and winning without every having to upgrade your cart. Once you beat all five of a stage, the CC never goes up again – you just have challenges to complete, races to win and more coins and gems to earn.
1) Set the time ahead for free energy whenever you run out.
Each and every race costs one single energy point. Once every single one of your characters runs out of energy all the way, go to the date and time menu on your phone or tablet and set it ahead (an hour and a half should be good) and every single one of your characters will get a free and immediate energy refill.
