Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards – How to load up on free gems and more coins

Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards is the massively-popular card battling game for the iOS and Android platforms featuring characters from five different Fox and Adult Swim cartoons. This game, like many of its type, has two different currencies. Gems are the premium currency of the game, and while they are in scarce supply, they can be earned for free. Coins are the common currency. Read on for tips on how to get more of both in Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards!

Before you do anything at all in the game, be sure to get the video bonuses. Go to the TV icon and watch all three available ad videos in order to earn the maximum bonus for the longest amount of time. You get 10% more coins off of the first bonus, 30% more from the second ad bonus, and 50% more coins from the third ad bonus.

After you do this, go to the arena if you want to load up on coins the fastest, because each arena battle will award you with a massive amount of coins if you win. You’ll earn hundreds of coins as opposed to the low amounts that you earn from the standard adventure battles.

To speed up the battle process, go to the options menu and change the battle speed from 1x to 4x. To speed it up even further, enable auto-battle mode. Then when you are in the battle itself, a skip button will appear in the top right hand corner of the screen, so hit skip to immediately collect your reward. Do this until you run out of compasses and boxing gloves.

Join a guild as soon as you get the chance. The more active members that a guild has, the higher your coin bonus. If you have 45 or more active members, you earn 50% more coins per battle, so make sure to recruit for your guild, or to join a full guild to begin with so that you can earn the maximum bonuses.

Quests can earn you free coins and free gems. Right now there are not that many quests in the game, but as you complete them and collect the rewards, the gem bonuses will rack up, as will the other associated bonuses (cards, coins, shards, etc).
