Arena of Valor is a hugely popular MOBA for the iOS and Android platforms, as well as the Nintendo Switch, that’s based off of the smash Chinese hit Kings of Glory. Before you decide which hero to pick, play a number of casual matches using all types of heroes, and whenever you unlock a new card, go back to the casual matches and experiment with that hero. Different heroes have different styles, and you may find that you like one better than the other and want to continue to use them for ranked matches.
Jungling is a great way to get experience, but it’s tough to do because monsters continually retreat back into the bushes and recover, causing it to eat up your time. Jungling is best done when you have communication with another hero on your team, so that they can help you to battle the monster, or when you have already leveled up significantly but you already have a good extra boost.
You can set your item trees in the armory before you even enter the battle. Speed is key when you are in a tough situation, and you’ll have to tap the quick-buy items instead of messing around in the shop menu in the middle of the battle, so figure out what kind of item tree you like, or use the suggested ones, and use the quick purchases to level up quickly and take the fight to the enemy in a more effective manner.
Unless you’re jungling, know your lane and stay in it. Retreat when you need to in order to recharge, and especially if you are a ranged fighter, use evasion or stay behind a tank who can absorb the damage. If you are a tank, hit a busy lane and soak up damage while your attackers do heavy damage behind you.
If you want to unlock more heroes, use the Road to Glory. To earn new cards in the Road of Glory, finish three matches in one day. Once you do this, you’ll be able to go to the Road to Glory and unlock a new card. You’ll also be able to open a chest full of coins as long as your credibility score is at a certain level.
