BattleHand is a new RPG for the iOS and Android by Kongregate Inc. This unique game combines traditional turn-based battle wth the card-based attacking idea made famous by the Megaman Battle Network series,as you go up against villains and other players in the land of Fellcrest, in an effort to vanquish the enemies and rank high in the King’s Arena, while collecting gold and diamonds. Read on for some tips and tricks for BattleHand!
You have a selection of cards to choose from in battle, but before you do that, make sure to go to your Battle Cards area and optimize them. Replace cards that are no longer needed or relevant with better cards. Use the booster cards to enhance the cards that you want to keep, especially multi-damage cards and rarer single damage cards.
For the most effective card enhancement, make sure that the booster card and the benefitting battle card are of the same type. This will provide an experience point bonus to the card that is getting enhanced. Fight more battles if you need to get more booster cards.
Go back to older battles as often as you need to, because once you have three-starred an old battle, you can choose auto-battle mode, allowing the fight to take place without you actually having to do anything to make it happen. Even better, when you have raid tickets, use the raid option to finish an old battle instantly, and get all of the rewards that you would have gotten for completing the entire battle in the process.
Upgrade the characters themselves to enhance their health, and as you earn their specific runes, go to the same menu to unlock their various traits and skills. Traits and skills will cost gold as well. Upgrading the characters should be the first thing you do as the gold cost is low but the boost is high.
If you don’t know what to do or where to go next, look at the quests menu for a hint on where. Not only will this show you what to do next, but you can also earn big rewards, such as lots of gold, and even free gems (which are the premium currency of the game).
