You have a bunch of different bombs that you can use at various points in the battle. Experiment with all of them to see what your favorites are and what does the most damage, so that you can use them for various purposes. You have more powerful ones that can target one enemy, and less powerful ones that can target multiple enemies, as well as wide-range ones that can take out a chunk of land with them.
Before you do anything, though, go to every menu on the main screen that has a red dot next to it and collect the rewards. Most of them can be collected for free. Some of them, such as the top-up, won’t be able to be cleared until you make a purchase; you’ll just have to deal with the red dot that constantly shows up on the menu screen.
Occasionally, when you start a new game, you’ll have to change the servers yourself in order to get to a server that fits your language of choice. You’ll be able to tell by the name of the server, and if you pick the default server, you might get the wrong language, making the game rather confusing – for example, your author in the USA got set to a Brazilian server by accident, and ended up with half the game being in Portuguese.

If you want to move your character, tap and hold somewhere else on the screen to get them to move there. This won’t use up any of your turn; you’ll still be able to fire a weapon before your turn ends. This will just allow you to get into a better position to target an enemy or to make it tougher for them to target you.
Keep playing and gaining experience levels, and you will unlock new parts of the game. You can unlock cards at one level, and you can unlock pets at the other level, all of which can be used to customize your game in various ways, and to upgrade the power of your attackers.
