Bubble Genius is a new bubble shooting game for the iOS and Android platform. Your goal is to pop bubbles in order to rescue or capture various creatures, and with new types of challenges for every stage, you’ll have a new challenge every time. Read on for some tips and tricks for Bubble Genius!
You have five lives in this game, and every time that you lose a level, or quit a level in the middle of the match, you lose a life. Each life takes 20 minutes to regenerate. If you don’t want to wait that long, set the time on your phone or tablet ahead by 20 minutes for every life that you’ve lost. Then go back to the game.
Once you go back to the game, all of your lives will be restored. After you do that, then you can go back to the date and time settings on your phone and set the time back to normal. Once you do that, go back to the game, and the lives that you just got will still be there.
If you don’t want to mess with the time on your phone or cheat, you can always connect the game to Facebook and bug your friends for lives. If you don’t have friends that play the game, search out people who do, especially if you use a game-centric sock puppet account. A good place to find them is on the App Store review pages, or on the comments section of this article.
As far as the bubble shooting goes, it doesn’t differ too much from other bubble-shooting games. Make the biggest combos that you can, and knock off bubbles that have other bubbles hanging from them so that you can make those bubbles drop with the same combo. Try to get through each level in as few moves as possible.
Logging onto Facebook will get you free gold, as will completing various in-game achievements, and certain level milestones. You can use the gold to buy power-ups and lives. Power-ups will occasionally show up for free (the specific button will be highlit in gold when they do), so when they show up, use them unless you’re about to beat the level with the next one or two normal shots.
