Bushido Bear is a new game by Spry Fox, makers of the popular Triple Town and Alpha Bear games. This one puts you into the shoes of various bears with samurai skills, and your goal is to defend the shrine against waves of attackers. You can unlock new bears to play for even longer against more enemy waves, and each bear even has its own stat set. Read on for some tips and tricks for Bushido Bear!
To kill enemies, you have to swipe a line next to them, but not through them, so that your swords can hit them. If you run into them, though, you die, so be especially careful when moving enemies start to enter the scene, as you will have to anticipate their movements and swipe, so that you don’t swipe right through them. Swipe through as many enemies in one line as possible to rack up big multipliers for more points.
Every ten waves, you’ll fight a boss character. The boss is killed by swiping and slicing it multiple times until it dies, so by necessity you’ll have to forget about combo attacks. Just keep slicing the boss until it dies, and be sure to avoid any movements and attacks that it unleashes.
Coins can be used for two purposes. Hit the dojo and you can upgrade one of your characters to give them bigger swords, more attack speed, faster dashes or special final attacks. Or, if you want to spend 100 coins to get a new bear, go to the shrine and give a 100 coin donation to roll for a new bear.
After every round, you can watch an ad for a free gift of coins. This is your fastest way to earn more coins, but coins can be earned within the game itself and through the completion of quests as well. Always check the quests menu before you begin a game to see what you have left to do.

Completing quests will also enable you to unlock new levels. Complete a number of quests sets to unlock each new level. Check the stage select often, as well, as the developers are going to be adding new levels with certain updates to the game. Of course, more quest sets will come with these updates as well so that you can unlock these levels.
