5) Expand with a purpose.
Don’t just buy random land because you can or because you have unlocked the ability to do so, or have earned the coins to do so. Buy land with the goal of making your way towards a new Ancient Wonder or a new character that you can unlock. If there are no paths that you can currently take to get to either a new character or an Ancient Wonder, then save your money unless you truly need the new land.
4) Purchase the Dragons as soon as you unlock them.
The Dragons are available in the store. There are three of them, the first which can be unlocked at level 7. The more heroes you have, the more ability you will have to find different kinds of treasures at the Wonders.
3) The game will tell you where to get EVERYTHING that you need.
If you’re totally stumped on where to get something that you need for a crafting project, upgrade project, or whatever else, go to the upgrade or crafting screen (where it shows you what you will need) and tap on the item that you don’t have. A popup will appear telling you exactly where to get it, even if you get it in an area or from a building that you haven’t unlocked yet.

2) Always load up on torches from the woodshop.
Torches are ALWAYS needed, because you need to use them in order to explore an Ancient Legend. Load up on a surplus of torches so that you can do constant exploration, enabling you to earn massive amounts of experience points and a whole smorgasbord of treasures.
1) Use the time lapse cheat to speed up everything that you do.
The oldest trick in the mobile gaming book works here, just as it has in many games. Set the time ahead to cancel out any waiting time that you have in the game, be it the three minutes that it takes to explore the Ancient Tower or the two hours that it takes for the ship at the Sea Trading port to complete a round trip. You can do this as many times as you want, at any point, and for any reason.
