Clarence’s Amazing Day Out: Tips, Tricks, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Clarence’s Amazing Day Out is a new browser game and iOS game by Cartoon Network. It plays very similarly to Dumb Ways To Die, as you switch quickly from mini game to mini game, racking up as many points as possible and trying to put off that inevitable moment of your run ending (with three lives per play) as you go from game to game. Read on for some tips and tricks for Clarence’s Day Out!

What you unlock here, rather than new characters like in DWTD, is new games, so just when you think you have it all figured out, along comes a brand new challenge. The good news is that one game at a time is very easy to learn. Also, you can’t unlock more than one game at a time, so once you have the required score for a round, stop.

If you are going for the highest score possible, though, play for as long as you can early on, then delete the app, reinstall it (or just reset the game so that you lose all of your bonus games), and do it all over again. The less games to master, the better, and this will give you a huge advantage in the high score competition against other players.

The tree climbing stage is a tough one if you don’t know where to tap. When you play that one, the way to win is by tapping Clarence’s feet as fast as you can. Tap anywhere else and he won’t climb. Keep tapping until he makes it up to the laundry basket. Tap with multiple fingers to make it go even faster.

Use as many fingers as needed in any of the fast tapping ones, such as the firefly collecting game or the piñata punching game, or the game where you inflate the balloon. Make sure one finger is fully off of the screen before you tap down with another finger though, or the game won’t read the tap and it won’t count for you.

In the game where you have to find Clarence in the ball pit, look for his eye or part of his cheek to pop out of the balls. Until then, tap with multiple fingers as quickly as you can until you see something pop out of the ball pit. Also, in the bowling game, if you don’t hit a strike the first time, be ready again immediately with another watermelon aimed at whatever it is that you didn’t hit before.
