Clash of Three Kingdoms is a new real time strategy warfare game for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is to enlist generals and build up your army so that you can conquer city after city in the Three Kingdoms-era battles of historic China, as well as manage resource production and deal with political problems in your own city. The most important thing to do in the game is to build up your barracks so that you can train as many troops as possible in the shortest period of time. Do this, as well as building up your wood stores, cottages and farmlands, as quickly as possible using the Advanced Construction Queue, which is activated by hitting the green chevron-esque button in the righthand side of any of your resource producing areas.

Each resource has its own particular use. Farmland produces food, which is used to feed your troops. You want to keep enough food around that you don’t have a negative food production per hour when your troops are maximized. Wood is used to train your heroes – go to the “hero” tab and and use the “wood up” method of training to spend your wood instead of your gold. Silver buys the other resources off of the black market.
Heroes and equipment are both sorted by rarity, which is depicted by the color of their names. White is the most common, followed by blue, then green, then orange, then red (rarest). If you get a brand new hero and want to increase their experience levels quickly, go to the instance battles, go to a battle that you have already beaten and that is easy by now, and play it a few times and your new hero’s experience level will be caught up in no time.
Equipping your heroes is just as important as training them. To buy better equipment, go to the equipment store and hit “refresh” over and over until rarer equipment pops up, and then buy it. Also, whenever you fire a hero, make sure that you unequip them first or you will lose all of their good equipment.
The techs that you can unlock (under “Tech”) are extremely important as they can get you more heroes and the ability for each hero to have more rows of troops, among other things, so follow each new tech’s quest to unlock it, then invest and research it. This is the fastest way to be able to make new ranks and take over tougher cities in the world map, as well as to win most country fights.
