Clumsy Ninja is a new virtual character game by Natural Motion, best known as the company behind My Horse and CSR Racing. This game makes use of one of the most intelligent AI’s ever seen in any game to date, console or mobile, to create a character who can be trained up from a clumsy little amateur to a master ninja by the player’s actions. Read on for some tips and tricks for Clumsy Ninja!
Each training item, whether it be trampolines, throwing items or heavy bags, or something else, has a cooldown time after you use it. This time is short early on, but the better the training item, the longer the repair time. Skip the repair time altogether by setting the time ahead on your phone or tablet. Then go back to the game and you will be able to use the item again.
This is a way to earn extremely quick experience points and coins. Each time that you gain an experience level, you will earn one free gem. This is the main way to get gems for free; however, if you don’t want to mess with the time on your phone or tablet, you can also watch an advertisement video to skip the cooldown time for free. (UPDATE: The time trick seems to have been blocked by the latest update from the developers of the game. Still, though, there are plenty of ways that you can you can earn experience and coins quickly, even outside of the time cheat)
Friends and plants (such as the chicken, the squirrel and the apple blossom) are huge coin earners, as well. You’ll begin unlocking them at level 10. Buy them as soon as you can, and then either wait for them to earn you coins however they do it (such as the chicken laying eggs) or do the above trick and set the time ahead on your phone or tablet to collect coins from them immediately.
Watch your character’s progression as you train him. Even when you don’t unlock new Ninja moves, you’ll see your ninja become less clumsy and more athletic as time goes on. Keep his training as well rounded as possible to encourage continued growth with regards to all moves. The programmers programmed the ninja to be as close as it gets to a real-life, learning character, so the more he practices, the more he learns.
If you run out of stuff that you can use that’s worth using (because the base level trampoline and punching bag stop being worth it after awhile), then start buying balloons for your ninja, then popping them, then buying them, popping them over and over again until you gain a level. Then when you level up, buy anything that you have just unlocked, and use it. Repeat over and over for fast experience gains.
