Clumsy Ninja: FAQ, Walkthrough, Wiki and Beginner’s Guide

Welcome to the beginner’s guide to Clumsy Ninja! Clumsy Ninja puts you in charge of training a young wannabe ninja warrior with no concept of actual ninja skills, but with a shocking amount of (artificial) intelligence. The concept of the game is not so much about completing one single goal, but simply about watching your ninja grow and change right before your very eyes. Read on for the beginner’s guide to Clumsy Ninja!

When you start off, the sensei will introduce you to everything in your training area. Your first training area will be the town, and your first training implement will be the trampoline. You other implements which will be unlocked later on will be the punching bag, the throwing balls, and the kick dummies. Each one will train some different aspect of your ninja’s skills.

However, these are only scratching the surface when it comes to what you can do to train your ninja. Pick him up by the arm, the leg, or both. Fling him around, throw him around, smash him down to the ground, poke him, tickle him or rub his head. Your ninja’s AI is so advanced that literally anything you do will cause him to learn. I’m not kidding – Natural Motion (the developer of this game) has been working on the AI system for over 10 years.

Any time that your ninja glows blue and releases sparks, that means that he has learned just a little bit more of something new. From one minute or the other, it’s very hard to tell the difference in your ninja’s reflexes and abilities, but if you pay attention you will be able to see your ninja gradually become more athletic, more ninja-like, and learn more moves.

In addition to all of the training implements and “informal” training, other “fun” things are available to purchase, such as the ninja towers, potions, balloons, boxes and barrels, and the “plants and friends” Plants and friends will earn you coins at regular intervals; everything else in the “fun” area will earn you experience points.

All of the training implements and some of the fun things (such as the ball guns and the ninja towers) will require cool off time after you use them. Others, such as the potions, the crates and barrels, and the balloons, can be used as many times as you want with no cooldowns, although they cost coins (the main currency of the game) to purchase.
