The goal is to go through as many pipes as you can and score as many points as you can before the inevitable, which is to smash into a pipe and die. Practice steady bouncing in order to go as far as you can. Bounce in a rhythmic fashion as opposed to a spastic, and it will be far easier to get your bird through the upper and lower pipe.
If you want to get rid of the advertisement, all that you have to do is play the game in airplane mode or turn off your data and your Wi-Fi and the ad will go away. However, considering that it is an independent developer that made this game, the advertisements are there bread and butter, so it is generally recommended not to do this.
The collision detection of the two pipes is uneven, so pay attention to where you hit the pipes when you die and eventually will figure out the exact line between being killed and not being killed. The top light appears to extend a little further than what it looks like. In the bottom pipe appears to not extend quite as far as it looks like it does. So angle your bird down a bit you should be just fine.
This game can become extremely frustrating requiring you to take multiple breaks. Take a break for 15 minutes to half an hour at a time and when you come back, it should be far easier to beat your previous high score. Your adrenaline will have subsided and your skills will have increased, which is the perfect combination for high scores.
This is not the most difficult Flappy Bird flown by any stretch of the imagination, so if you want to become better at this game, find one of the games that is actually more difficult. Play that game for a while until you get used to it, then come back to this game and it will seem a whole lot easier in comparison to the other one.
