Dots & Co – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Beat, and Strategy Guide

Dots & Co is the latest game in the Dots series, which consists of Dots and Twodots, two previous smash-hits for the iOS and Android platforms. This one takes the gameplay in TwoDots and adds many new features, such as companion characters and multi-stage levels. Read on for some tips and tricks for Dots & Co!

You can clear lines of dots by dragging your finger across two or more in a row, but if you want to clear out all of the dots of one color at the same time, draw a square or rectangle in between four or more dots of the same color at the same time. This will automatically clear out all of the dots of that color on the screen, and is the fastest way to clear out the required dots.

Make an even bigger square or rectangle, with dots in the middle of it for an even bigger bonus. The dots inside of the square will all turn into bombs. After the square and the identically-colored dots are cleared, the bombs that formed inside of the square will go off, blowing up all of the pieces around them.

If you want to get all of your energy back for free, wait until your energy runs out, and then go to the date and time settings on your phone or tablet and set the time ahead. Once you do this, go back to the game and your energy will be recovered. If you set your time back to normal after this, though, the time will be added back to your energy cooldown.

To maximize your point total, finish the round in the fewest moves that you can. Ten of the moves will be turned into bombs, which blow up to give you extra points. Any left over move after ten will go automatically to your point total, maximizing your score and earning you a much easier three stars.

Your companion has specific powers, and clearing the triangle dots will charge their powers. If you pay tokens before the level begins, then the level will start with an automatic use of her powers. It only costs three tokens, but generally it’s best to save this until you really need it to clear an extremely hard level, if at all.
