6) Take advantage of other players’ poor dungeon building strategies in battle.
Most players will keep everything as is, including even the pathways. Send your minions in through the spawn points that are the closest to the important areas (dungeon hearts and resource storages), and through the least heavily-defended areas. Send in minions with specific aims (trolls, for example, go for defenses, and bile demons go for resources) to make it even easier.
5) Don’t even bother with players who don’t have many resources or who are too heavily-guarded
When you choose “find an opponent”, you can skip any opponent by hitting the “skip” button in the upper right hand corner and paying an extra 30 gold. You can only do this if you haven’t sent any of your minions in. Take advantage of this.
4) Earn loads of resources and sabotage your own PvP rankings at the same time for easier battles.
Send in a group of minions to destroy their storage and their treasuries. Skeletons are so cheap and powerful that they are probably the best to use for this. Once they knock out the treasury and the storage, immediately end the raid below 50 percent. It will count as a loss, which will take away ranking, which will put you up against easier opponents, and you can load up on resources in the process.
3) Build your training ground and your guard gate to really add to your battle effort.
Training grounds will allow you to power up any of your existing minion types, so your favorite minions will be even more effective in battle. The guard gate will enable immortals, which respawn after every battle, allowing you to spend less gold and to battle far more frequently.
2) Participate in the events as often as they come along.
They will not always be available, but when they are, they are one of the best ways to load up on resources and possibly to even earn bonus gems. Take advantage of them for the limited time that they are there for.
1) Complete the achievements in order to earn free gems.
Often, the achievements will earn you free gems even faster than the gem veins will. Tap on the star icon to see what achievements you still have left to complete, and then complete them. Combine this with being easy on your expenditure of gems in the first place, and there is no need to spend any real-life money on this game.
