Fame City – Tips and Cheats: The Strategy Guide

Fame City is a new fame-building RPG for the iOS and Android platforms. Much as the two Stardom games did before it, Fame City puts you in the shoes of an actor or actress who is attempting to go from the bottom of the barrel to the A-list, and what you do in the game decides how many fans you will end up with and how famous you can become. Read on for some tips and tricks for Fame City!

Energy is used every time you do an action in Fame City. Once you run out of energy, it’s gone until it restores by time alone, or until your purchase more energy. If you want to get more energy for free without having to wait for it, though, then set the time ahead on your phone or tablet. Then go back over to Fame City and your energy will be restored. How much energy you get back depends on how much time you cut off with the cheat.

Once you finish this trick and go back to the app to verify your energy, go back to the date and time settings, and set the time back to normal. Then go back to Fame City, and all of your energy that you just got for free will still be there. You can do this trick as many times as you want so theoretically, you can play for as long as you want without having to pay for energy.

The same trick works in reverse if you are completing a time-controlled action, such as working a shift at Gossip Channel or the burger joint, and you run out of time before all of your actions are complete. Go to the date and time and set the time backwards just enough, and you will be able to do the shift for longer. This trick works best on longer shifts, and is the most useful for those too since they are easier to forget about.

Don’t know where to go next? Tap on the quest menu in the upper left corner of the screen to figure out what to do next. At times there will be no available quests. Then, just start talking to people and exploring and eventually, you’ll end up stumbling across a new quest that you can then complete.

Connect the game to Facebook, and without bugging your friends, the game will automatically change the virtual-world folks in the game to have the names of your real life friends.
