-Connect the game to Facebook so that you can visit your friends’ Quahogs. You can help them out by tapping on buildings, which will allow you to collect both coins and clams as rewards.
-If none of your friends are playing the game yet and you don’t want to bug them by sending them invites, go to places where people post their information (App Store review page, this article’s comments page, or the Facebook pages for the game) and look for people to add. Or, you can post your own information instead.
-Complete quests as quickly as possible to unlock all of the characters. Look for quests where you can complete more than one action at a time, as sometimes they require multiple actions from multiple different people in order to complete them.
-Whenever somebody isn’t doing anything for a quest, have them complete short term actions over and over so that you can earn more coins and more experience points, and so that you can level that character up.
-Be stingy with your clams. Free clams are few and far between in this game unless you are loaded up on Facebook friends. Have the patience to wait out the various tasks and building constructions that you have to do in this game.
-If you are going to spend clams, use them to buy a building that will earn you a new character, such as Jake Tucker in Church or Consuela’s house. Or use them to buy a second builder, so that you can complete more buildings at the same time.
-Before deciding which buildings to buy, take a look at which ones earn you the most coins and experience points per hour. Considering that most buildings aren’t that expensive, you’re better off picking the highest earning buildings and then loading your own personal Quahog with them.
-If you really want to be cheap, just load the place with McBurgertown franchises. They earn you 10 coins and 5 experience per hour and only cost 50 coins to build, while taking an hour to build each one.
-Hoard coins so that you can build expansions as quickly as possible. The faster you expand, the more new characters and quests you’ll unlock quicker.
-Tap on any building at any time to see which characters are completing quests there. You can use clams at any time to speed up their actions, but it’s generally recommended to save your clams.
