The quickest way to earn stars initially is to play new stages every time that you play, but the most efficient way to use your stamina is to play the same stage over and over. Doing this will familiarize you with the locations of all of the objects on a level, allowing you to finish it faster and earn a higher score every time, racking up stars quickly in the process.
Stamina is required in order to play a level. If you run out of stamina and you can’t afford the gems but you don’t want to wait, go to the date and time settings on your phone and set the time ahead by 2 minutes per energy that you want to restore, or by 3 hours and 20 minutes for a full 100-energy refill.
Pinching with two fingers and zooming in is one of the most effective ways to spot hard-to-see objects. Once you are zoomed in, you can use one finger to scroll around the level and pick out objects without having to zoom back out and then in again. You can zoom in part of the way as well for a good balance between the detailed look and the bigger picture look.
Every time that you unlock a case, you have to download the case before you can play it. Make sure you’re in an area with a good connection before you try to download a new case. If you are using a phone that does not have unlimited data, either use a data-compression app or wait until you have a wifi connection in order to download the new case, so that you don’t run up data charges.
Be sure to purchase upgrades as you go in order to maximize your score-earning abilities, among other things (such as the effectiveness of potion boosts). The score multiplier max boosters in particular work best when you are playing the same level over and over, and will help you beat the all-time top score in said level.
