Farm Story 2: How to get more Coins and Gems

Farm Story 2 is the new sequel to Farm Story by Storm8 Studios for the iPhone and iPad, and eventually, for the Android platform. There are two main types of currencies in Farm Story 2. Coins are the primary currency, and they will buy you most or all of what you need in the game. Gems are the premium currency in the game, and they are good for such things as speed ups as well as premium items in the game’s store. Read on for tips and tricks on how to get more of both!

Your main way of earning coins is through sending shipments to various people, via the Deliveries warehouse. You’ll know when a shipment is ready to send by looking at the roof of the building. There are eight squares, and one will light up for every delivery that is ready to send. When at least one delivery is ready to send, go there and send it. Come back a few minutes later to earn both coins and experience points.

Or, if you don’t want to wait for the delivery to finish, set the time on your phone or device ahead by a few minutes (or for however much time you want to cut off from the usual waiting time). You will be able to collect from the Deliveries building right away, allowing you to start new jobs much more quickly.

Maximize the number of every other structure, farm plot and building that you have. Build as many farm plots, mills, and animal pens as you can, and fill the animal pens all the way with animals. This way, you will be able to feed more of them, and to collect more of their products (for example, milk for cows and eggs for chickens).

There is one main way to get more gems, and that is to buy more of them in the in-game store. There are a few quests that will pop up here and there that will afford you the opportunity to earn more gems, but they are few and far between. When you complete achievements, however, collect from them, and you will earn free gems as a reward.
