Each challenge earns you coins and experience points as a reward upon completion. If you win the challenge, you’ll win a payday, as well as bonuses for every excellent driving maneuver that you do. If you lose, you’ll only win the bonuses, and you will gain such a paltry number of experience points that they won’t really even contribute to your experience level.

Your goal in the drag races is to hit the best launch that you can and to hit the best shifts that you can. Your launches and shifts rank from good to great to perfect. Hit the perfect launch by hitting the launch button as soon as the light turns green. Hit the perfect shift by shifting in between the last number on the tachometer and redline. You will earn bonus coins for your good, great or perfect launches – the better the launch, the more coins you will earn.

In the drifting races, the launch and shift mechanics are the same until you go into drift mode. When you do, you don’t have to shift, you simply have to hit and hold the drift button at the right time. The perfect drift is achieved by hitting the button right as the rear end of the car crosses onto the blue drift point. If you let off the drift at the right time you won’t get a coin bonus but you will get a speed boost. Every “perfect” move will earn you a speed boost, the drift boosts are the one with the most effect.

Each race costs fuel, which is the energy of this game. One fuel point regenerates after fifteen minutes. You start off with 5 maximum energy, although if you spend gold (the premium currency of the game), you can buy a full refuel or add to your maximum fuel total. Or you can ask your Facebook friends for fuel.
