Fishdom is a name that has been around the gaming world for awhile, but it hasn’t been around the iPhone or iPad for nearly as long. Fishdom is a new aquarium game, of sorts, for the iPhone, but it’s actually more of a match 3 game. Your goal is to earn money to fill your aquarium with fish, decorations, and comfort items, but the way that you earn money is by playing match-3 games. And unlike most match 3 games, you can play as many as you want, without having to worry about any arbitrary “energy”. Read on for some tips and tricks for Fishdom for iOS!
Often when you play in the match three games, you’ll find that you don’t have any moves that will actually clear a gold tile from the board, or a steel tile, or anything else. At that point, and really, at any other point, the best strategy is simply to stop thinking and start trying to match three anywhere on the screen as quickly as possible.
Since every round that you play is timed, speed matters, and making more combos can shake up the board quite a bit, causing you to find combos that will help finish the stage, where combos didn’t previously exist.
Finishing the stage as quickly as possible, and when you finish a stage quickly, you earn more bucks towards buying things for the aquarium. Buy new fish, new comfort items and new decoration items in equal proportions. When you fill up all three of the bars, you get a new trophy. When you earn the trophy, start the process all over again.
If you want to keep the aquarium uncluttered, scroll to the right in each of the shop menus and buy the more expensive items. The amount that they fill the bar is proportionate to the amount that the particular item costs.
