Flappy Bird – FAQ, Wiki, Walkthrough and Beginner’s Guide, Part 2

Flappy Bird was created by Dong Nguyen and published by .Gears. Both of these companies are based out of Vietnam, and specialize in indie mobile games. This game didn’t start to get extremely popular until recently, but the game actually came out quite awhile ago. It only just now went viral, and has become possibly the most popular game in the history of the App Store – seriously contending with the original Angry Birds and with Candy Crush Saga.

Hit the “score” button and you will be able to see all of the high scores in the history of the game. Most of them are obviously hacked scores, as getting 9,999 points is nearly impossible in the game – however, if you are a hardcore wizard or a hacker, it’s possible.

Hacking the game should be fairly easy to do if you are playing it on the Android. If you are playing on the iOS platform, you need to find a file explorer program, such as iExplorer, and then you can go in and mess with the files inside the game. You can add your own graphical changes this way, or you can even mess with the settings to make the pipes disappear. If you screw up the game beyond repair, then delete the app and download it again.

Use the “share” button when you finish a around and you will be able to share your highest score in the game. Sharing via Facebook is not built in, so you are better off screen capping the picture of your score and posting it. You can, however, share via text messages, airdrop, or email.

The game is, oddly enough, easier to play on the Android platform than the iOS platform. It’s also far easier to play on a bigger screen than on a smaller screen for obvious reasons. When the next update comes out for the iOS, expect the difficulty to be evened out, and possible, expect Facebook sharing to finally be enabled through the game itself, rather than having to do it manually.
