Futurama: Game of Drones – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Beat, and Strategy Guide

Futurama: Game of Drones is a new match-four (33% better than match three!) puzzle game for the iOS and Android platforms. It stars all of the usual suspects from the series, and along with them, an entire list of challenges Candy Crush-style as well, except with a hex grid which makes for much different strategy. Read on for some tips and tricks for Futurama: Game of Drones!

Like most puzzle games that are similar to this, you have five lives, and with each loss, you lose a life. Normally, you have to wait half an hour for each life to come back, but if you have friends on Facebook who play this game, you can ask them for lives, and they can ask you for lives as well. If you don’t, then you can find people to add on the comment section here, or on the App Store and Google Play review pages for the game. Or look on Facebook itself for fan groups.

Or if you want to cheat for some extra lives, go to the date and time settings on your phone or tablet, and set the time ahead half an hour for every life that you need to get back. Then go to Futurama: Game of Drones and all of your lives will be restored. Once you do that, go to the date and time again and set the time back to normal, and when you go back to the game, all of the free lives will still be there.

Making a combination of five pieces creates a line breaker drone, a combination of six pieces makes a bomb drone, and a combination of seven pieces makes a prism drone. Make as many of these super-drones as you can, because they can make it very easy to complete a level, especially when you start combining super drones together. Combine any super drone for a prism drone, for instance, to clear out almost the entire level by turning all of the associated color drones into the super drone that you mixed the prism with.

Bucks are the premium currency of the game, and are used for purchasing boosts within the rounds. You shouldn’t need any of these boosts unless a level is REALLY difficult to beat, though, so stay away from buying anything. You can, however, charge Fry’s blast ray with each move you make, and then use it to collect matching drones, like with a prism.

The easiest way to earn three stars is to finish with the highest number of left over moves that you possibly can. Every move will turn into a super drone, and then once the moves run out, all of the super drones will do their thing at the same time.
