Garfield: Survival of the Fattest: Tips, Tricks, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Garfield: Survival of the Fattest is the new city builder created to commemorate Garfield’s 40th book. This iOS game, much like Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff and The Simpsons: Tapped Out, puts you in control of Garfield, adds in plenty of witty texts and bits from the comic books, as well as plenty of Garfield’s friends for you to unlock. You even have Lasagna as the freemium/premium currency. Read on for some tips and tricks for Garfield: Survival of the Fattest!

Your main goal is to complete the quests, but many of them will take a long time to complete. Until then, find short jobs to do that can prepare you to advance quickly. For example, use all of the coins that you built up, and clean out the small trees, small rocks and other cheap obstacles so that you can build more buildings.

One of the best ways to earn free Lasagna is to wait until you unlock the social menu, then go to the teasers area and watch as many of them as are available to you. Then, go and watch more when you unlock them or when they become available again. Other ways to earn free lasagna include leveling up, collecting awards and completing quests.

Play the mini games as often as possible, as these tend to be one of the best ways to earn coins and experience points, and one of the most fun ways to do so in general. Score as high as possible in each of the mini games because the higher you score, the more coins and the more experience points you will earn in that round.

Fruit provides a good amount of calories, and planting more fruit trees and vegetable plants is a good way to load up the scale. However, junk food is always the best, so use your lasagna to buy some junk food stands in order to make the scale fill up a whole lot more quickly. Combine foods together to come up with ways to produce new foods, as well.

Purchase another expansion to your area as soon as you unlock it, and you’ll unlock more expansions by gaining more experience levels. Expansions are your main method of unlocking new characters, so the sooner that you purchase the expansion, the sooner you will earn your new character, and the more quests and actions you can do at the same time by extension.
