You can speed anything up instantly in this game. Farming, cooking, or waiting for whatever you have served to sell, you name it and you can make it happen instantaneously. All that you have to do is set the time on your phone or tablet ahead by however much time you need to wait, then go back to the game and everything will be completed. Set it ahead by whatever task takes the longest amount of time to complete.
After you do that, you can go back to the date and time settings and set the time back to normal, and then go back to the game. Once you do this, you can do the trick as many times as you want. Setting the time back to normal simply ensures that you won’t have your phone set to an extremely strange time if you decide to do just that.
You can connect the game to Facebook and you will be able to send free gems back and forth from your friends. If you don’t have any friends who play the game, look around for people to add on Facebook who do play it. A good way to do this is to start a second Facebook account for social games, then to look for people to add who are in Gourmet Ranch groups, or in the official Gourmet Ranch: Farm, Cook and Serve group, or look on the app store or on the comment section of this page. When someone posts an Add Me request, go ahead and add them.
Once you fix up the trade store you will be able to buy and sell from players all over the game world, just like in Hay Day. Use smart buying and selling to make a whole bunch of money by doing this. Figure out what’s in demand and what’s in short supply, and find items that are undervalued (or grow them yourself and cook them yourself), and buy and sell them for a significant markup in the store.
An easy way to get free gems, aside from sending them back and forth with friends, is to complete orders and deliveries. The more of them you complete, the more gems that you will earn. They won’t give you much to begin with but as they add up and as you complete more of them, the gems will really build up.
