Gravity Switch is the latest endless game released by Ketchapp for the iOS and Android. You play as a brick sliding along a path with shiftable gravity. You can shift it up or down by hitting the screen, and your goal is to go as far as you can without hitting a wall. You can collect gold cubes, which allow you to unlock new cubes in the store. Gold cubes are mainly collected in the level itself, but if you want to add more of them all at once, you can purchase them in the in-app purchase store. The cube doubler is the best value overall as it lasts permanently. All purchases remove advertisements permanently, including even the smallest cube purchase, so if the ads bug you, buy the doubler or the 99 cent purchase.
Two other methods of earning cubes come after you die in a round. Sometimes an offer to watch a video ad will come up, and if you take the offer, you will win 30 free cubes. Also, at various time intervals, you’ll win a free batch of cubes just by opening your free gift. Set your push notifications if you want to be notified as soon as cubes are ready.
Once you get 200 cubes, you can spin to win a new cube. Common cubes show up more frequently; rare and epic cubes, less so. Legendary cubes can only be unlocked via IAPs. The booming booster allows you to boost at any time for free, and the mighty magnet cube attracts all of the gold cubes to you.
Numerous cubes are also available via the challenges. You have to pass a certain amount of challenges to get the challenge cubes. All of these cubes except for the legendary cubes are cosmetic only – the gameplay will be exactly the same no matter which cube you choose.
Each time that you complete a challenge, you also unlock a new scape, which changes the color of a level. The game randomly scrolls through scapes each time that you play or every time that you earn 10 points, but you can turn on and off scapes to add them or pull them out of the rotation. If you like one specific color combination, you can enable only that one if you choose to.
