Guns GirlZ: Escape Ragnarok is a new chibi anime-style Final Fight-style beat em up/shoot em up game for the iOS and Android platforms. You play as a schoolgirl whose goal is to blast through zombies in multiple stages, collect all kinds of guns and other equipment, enhance it into something powerful enough to destroy a military, and then blast through even more zombies. Read on for some tips and tricks for Guns GirlZ: Escape Ragnarok!

You can get rare equipment in the Gacha area if you have enough rare Crystals in order to do so, but you have to buy Crystals in order to do so. The best way to get more equipment is to find it in the brown boxes in the stages, as drops from the zombie girls and from the boxes, traffic cones and other objects that you can destroy. You’ll find ammo and health drops too, and gold, so pick them up before they disappear.

There are multiple ways to enhance your weapons. One of them is to use the normal enhance, which allows you to sacrifice up to five weapons at a time to increase the experience level of a weapon. As experience level increases, so does the power, the rate of fire and the maximum amount of ammo that weapon can hold.

The other way is to refine it, which requires you to use a specific refining item, or for rare equipment, a bunch of different refining items. This actually increases the rarity of an item, as well as changes the appearance. This enhances the stats, increases the cost and sends the level of the item back down to 1, making for more easy enhancements.

Stuck on a stage? Play the last stage you beat (or play stages on hard mode) over and over again to grind for gold and experience points, and for equipment that can be used as upgrade fodder. Then once you have strengthened up a bit, go and play the stage that you were originally stuck on and it should seem easier.

Always keep a melee weapon with you just in case you run out of ammunition. Usually not only will they have a decently high attack power, but you can hit multiple enemies at once fairly easily with them allowing you to get out of tough spots. Just be careful that you don’t take too much damage while you’re using them. Slow down and retreat from enemy attacks if you have to, running back in to attack as needed.
