Hell Quest: Tears of God – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, cheats and strategies

Hell Quest: Tears of God is a new dice based gamble-battle game for the iPhone, with a style all its own. It does have RPG elements mixed in, with a storyline detailing how the protagonists in this game (the Man of Faith and others) are trying to save people from hell, right down to the two different currencies in the game (faith and souls). Otherwise, it’s a great game that shows just how well randomness can be integrated into a battle system. Read on for some tips and tricks for Hell Quest: Tears of God!

When you are in the middle of battle, if you finish your turn more quickly, then your mana will regenerate much more quickly, allowing you to use spells whcih will drop the amount of power that the enemy builds up from their cards. However, focusing too much on mana regeneration will cause you to miss some of the huge combination attacks that you can make using your blue cards and your match-three (or more) white cards.

If you are having trouble beating a stage, first, wait for your life to regenerate (if you have lost already) or spend souls to regenerate it quickly. Then, go back to a stage that you have beaten previously and play it again and again, grinding for level ups and for faith to spend on better characters and on upgrades. Then go back to the stage you can’t beat and try again.

Use prayers as often as possible in order to enhance the statistics of your character, as well. Keep your character praying and doing the old missions at the same time, and your stats will increase rapidly, and you’ll keep building up enough faith to afford more and more prayers.

When you’re enhancing your skills after gaining a level, try to keep them in an even combination; however, give a little more emphasis to Life Force, because it’s by far the most important one to enhance. Enhancing your life force will keep you alive longer, pure and simple.
