Just like with the energy function, you can cheat to get your embers right away whenever you don’t feel like waiting for them. You can do the exact same trick with research, too. Set the time ahead by however much time you need to cut off. You can do this trick however many times you want, and setting the time back to normal won’t affect the cooldown time for any future researches, either.
Once you research ritual 1, you can then “banish” heroes in order to earn more coins right away. The higher the rarity of the hero that you banish, the more coins you’ll earn for banishing them.
One way to earn free diamonds (and the main way) is to complete the achievements that are listed under the icon that looks like a trophy. There is a massive number of achievements, and whenever one is completed, an exclamation mark will appear next to the icon, inviting you to collect it.
Each time that your commander gains an experience level, you will earn a bonus reward of free diamonds. In addition, wait for the popup that invites you to rate the game. Follow the prompt that pops up, then close and re-open the app. You will have 100 extra free diamonds to your name when you load the game up again.
