Hooked Inc: Fisher Tycoon is a new idle fishing game for the iOS and Android platforms.
Most idle games have a “prestige” element to them, and the versions of it that exist in this game are Fishing Experience, which allows not only for multiplier bonuses, but for a better chance at catching the epic fish (AKA the big ones) as well.

There are many factors that play into your overall gameplay experience and your money earned, but things are different for the fishing experience portion of things.
With the fishing experience as a whole, the two things that play into it are the number of fish that have physically been caught and the level of sea that you’re at.
The higher the level of sea, the more each fish is worth, but for the most part, the amount of fish is the deciding factor.
Want to catch a lot of fish without doing anything? Go to the settings menu on your phone, first of all. Set your phone display so that it does not sleep at all.
Leave your phone in the charger with the game active, and let your boat with all of its crew members (as long as you have crew) catch the fish while your phone is plugged into the charger.
You’ll end up with far more fish than you would if your phone simply went offline.
Some of your crew members will have a function called auto-catch. That means that the character will cause at least one buoys to appear, and any fish that hits the buoys will be caught automatically.
So the more that you upgrade with the auto-catch fish, the more buoys that will appear. Make sure to manually spread them apart so that you earn as much cash as possible.
The school of fish is one of your best shots at loading up on fish experience. Make sure that you stop what you’re doing and catch the school when you see it.
To make it easier, if you have at least one buoy, grab it and stick it in the path of the school, or grab it and drag it through the school to rapidly catch every single one of them.

This is a much easier way to do it than standard swiping.
Fishing experience is not the only factor that plays into the overall multiplier. Stars, which are earned by fishing and catching new fish, play into it as well.
The total experience will be multiplied by the total number of stars to decide your overall multiplier.
