Hopeless 2: Cave Escape is a new shooting and rescuing game for the iOS and Android platforms. You play as a yellow blob, and your goal is to rescue other yellow blobs and kill the monsters while riding in a minecart. You have a multitude of guns that you can use in this game, and your smart use of them not only knocks off the monsters, but can even rearrange the scenery when aimed right. Read on for some tips and tricks for Hopeless 2: Cave Escape!
You have to have fast reflexes in order to be able to tell when it’s a monster or a blob coming up. Your goal is to rescue the blobs, not shoot them. To rescue them, run into them with your minecart. The more you rescue, the more points that you will end up with at the end of the round of play.
Up to two of your blobs will join you in the minecart, and each blob is worth 1 hit point. When you lose all of your blobs, you lose the round. The blobs that you rescue after number 3 will count as rescued, but will not go into your minecart. They will just count for more points at the end of the round. Shoot the monsters before they can hit you and take your blobs away.
If you had trouble three-starring a specific level, wait until you get further into the game and get better guns, then go back into the level later on and play it with a better gun to try to earn more stars. Or, if you need to earn more coins, just go back and play old levels until you run out of carts, then come back later when you have more carts.
Always shoot the crates when you see them, whether they are hanging or sitting on the ground. They will either contain coins, red gems (the premium currency of the game) or another blob. If you didn’t get three stars the first time, you may have missed some crates, so look out for ones you possibly missed.
A good way to get free gems is to go to the in app purchase store and look for the icon with a video player on it to earn 50 free gems. Also, go to the coins section of the store and you can watch a video to earn 1,500 free coins. They won’t be available all the time, so after you run out of videos, go back later and they’ll show up again.
