Welcome to the beginner’s guide to Happy Street, the new iPhone game where you build your own horizontal city! In Happy Street you get to play as Billy, the excited young fellow who wants to build his own town, and forms a partnership with Pepin the business critter who wants to run businesses and make money. It can be a very in depth, complicated game especially when you are first getting into it, but this beginner’s guide will help to simplify it and make it a breeze to get started. As you start off the game, you will be introduced to Billy, the young naive fox who wants to build a village, and Pepin, the well-traveled, worldly wolf who wants to make money. After this initial bit of dialogue, the tutorial will kick off in the form of various missions. Any time that someone has a new mission for you to complete, there will be a question mark over their head. Tap it and you will see what the next mission is, and any time that you want to take a look back at it, click on one of the character icons in the upper left corner of the screen.
Many of these missions will include buying and building new things. To do this, go to the upper right tap that looks like a down arrow, and then hit the Shop button, and open up the full shop area. In this area you can tab over to Housing, Business, Decoration and Special to buy the building you need. The first three are self-explanatory, and at first they won’t cointain very many buildings. However, as you continue on and gain levels, you will unlock more and more buildings and decorations.
You can buy more Flooz and Tokens with real life money under the Flooz tab, and exchange 1 flooz for 1,000 coins underneath the Coins tab.
