How to play Reign of Dragons for iOS (part 1): Walkthrough, FAQ and Beginner’s Guide

Welcome to the beginner’s guide to Reign of Dragons for the iPhone, iPod Touch and other iOS devices. In this new card battling game, the Justice, Chaos and Genesis factions are in a war in the thirteen day period leading up to the apocalypse, and your job is to pick a side and fight. As you complete quests, collect cards, evolve your cards and battle against other players, you can build up your team and become one of the most powerful players in the game.

As you get started, the first thing that you do will be the quests. When you start a quest, you’ll tap on the screen to defeat rows of enemies, with each tap costing you stamina, and earning you Dorri (this game’s version of coins) and experience points. In addition, you’ll find cards, items and treasures as you go.

At the end of a quest period, which happens when your progress bar fills up, then that segment of the quest will be complete, and you will be able to move onto the next segment. In addition, every time you complete two or three quests, you will battle a boss. You can fight the boss using your leader card and the leader cards of a few of your allies, if you have any at the time.

During the first fifteen minutes per day of your quests, you will have unlimited stamina, which is why the stamina bar won’t go down at first. After that, stamina will drop just as it normally would as you complete the quest. After you run out, you can either use a stamina potion, gain a level to get a free stamina refill, or simply wait for it to refill since it comes back over time.

In order to power up your cards, you are going to need to enhance them or to evolve them. If you enhance a card, you pick one card as the base card, and as many cards as you want as the mixer cards. Each mixer card will be sacrificed, and the base card will level up, causing its attack and defense to increase.
