Jungle Heat – Attack Strategies: How to destroy any base in the game

Jungle Heat is a Clash of Clans-inspired game for the iOS and Android platforms, and true to the name, it puts you in charge of a military base in the jungle. There are thousands of other bases that you can attack – not only is there a single player attack mode in which you destroy preformed bases as part of the storyline, but you can pay 50 gold to attack any other player’s base that you want to, at any time. It’s not always easy, though, so read on for some attack strategies to help you destroy the tougher bases.

Early on in the game, when you are still in protection mode, you can win just by using slashers. However, upgrading the barracks to level 2 will unlock spies, which go straight for the resources. Once you start to hit slightly tougher bases, a good strategy is to send in your slashers first to deal with the protection (cannons and watchtowers), and then to send in your spies to raid the entire base of resources.

As you continue to upgrade the barracks, you will unlock the following troops beyond slashers and spies. Riflemen are unlocked at level three, and attack at a long distance, hitting air targets as well, such as defensive drones. Gunners are unlocked at level four and primarily target protection buildings (such as cannons and watchtowers), but they can only hit ground targets. Bombers will do big damage to walls and blow them up instantly, and then disappear. These are unlocked at level five.

Hornets are unlocked at level six. They can fly right over walls, and primarily target ground based protection targets with bombs. At level seven you unlock pyros, which are flamethrower troops that target the nearest ground and air target with MASSIVE fire damage. Level eight brings you the Nurse, who heals your other troops. Level nine unlocks the Black Hawk, a helicopter that does massive damage to any target but takes up large amounts of housing space, and takes an almost unlimited amount of damage. Level ten unlocks the Iron Storm, which is nearly invincible and does incredible amounts of damage, but only hits ground targets.

Send in your troops in a circle around the base, so that one troop isn’t susceptible to damage by mines, and so that the gun towers can’t target the same group of troops at the same time. This will speed up the battle massively, so that you can get back to your base and continue preparing for more battles.
