Everything (almost) has a timer in this game, but every single timer can be circumvented by setting the time ahead on your iPhone or iPad. Once you do that go back to the game and you will be able to pass all of the timers as long as you set the time ahead by at least the amount of the longest timer.

Once you do that, you will be able to go back to the date and time settings and set everything back to normal. It’s recommended to do this before collecting everything, as resetting the time won’t reverse completed timers. So you can do the time lapse cheat as many times as you want for things such as getting your good dinosaurs healed, completing construction, and more.

Sometimes it can be a bit of a slog to gain levels, since you can’t simply fight whenever you want. To gain levels quickly, go to the building store and flood your available building space with structures or decorations – whatever you can afford will work. Decorations are preferred because they don’t take any time to build. Each one built will give you EXP. Sell them all (gives you back half of what you spent), then buy them again. Repeat over and over until you gain the levels you need.

You can load up on free DNA or free Cash easily in this game. Hit the “plus” button next to the counters and hit the “free” buttons corresponding to one currency or the other. Ad videos are an option for free Dino Bucks, and are the only option for DNA. You can also complete various free offers to earn Dino Bucks without having to pay real life money for them.

Battling requires a little bit of strategy, but the main thing to remember, aside from the three menu options and how best to use them (attack, defend and charge) is how to pair up dinosaurs against each other for the best bonuses. Carnivores are strong against herbivores, which are strong against pterosaurs, which are strong against amphibians, which are strong against carnivores.
