Lep’s World 3 is a new leprechaun-themed platforming game that recalls some of the play of the oldest Mario games. Even the blocks look similar – the bricks, the gold treasure blocks, the one-ups, etc. Plus, you have your overworld stages, underwater stages, cave stages, and your castle stages with a boss inside. There aren’t any princesses, though, but this game will bring back some nostalgia for those who can’t get enough of the old style of platforming. This game starts off easy but gets difficult, so read on for the top ten tips and tricks for Lep’s World 3!
10) Collect 100 coins to earn an extra life.
Yep, it’s just like the Mario games in this regard. Earn 100 coins and you get an extra life. You can buy extra lives in the store too, but why? If you are running low, go back to an easy stage that you know you can beat, then collect coins, and repeat as needed.
9) Become the Super Lep by collecting five birds in a row.
When you make the birds appear out of a block, collect them as fast as you can. Once you collect all five of them you will have super jumps and super speed for a short amount of time, as well as other fun new abilities. This lasts for a good fifteen seconds or so.
8) Competing against other players? Rack up the lives to keep the score increasing!
You can get an almost unlimited score this way. Don’t run out of lives, though, or you will end up having to start over with your score. If you don’t care about your score, then ignore the lives, because you can still go back to any stage you want to after continuing.
7) Know how to defeat the Goblin at the end of every castle stage.
Watch the pattern that the Goblin moves in. Wait for an opening, and then fire away with pine cones. You need to land three solid hits with the pine cones in order to defeat the goblin and move onto the next world.
6) There are up to three pots of gold per stage. Look for them so that you can unlock more levels and other goodies.
Pots of gold will unlock not only new stages, but other goodies, such as new characters, as you collect them. They are in the same location every time, and if you find them once you will never have to find them again unless you reset the game’s memory or start another saved game. So if you have to backtrack through a stage to find a pot of gold, remember where you have already looked.
