Your characters come with a wealth of moves that can be used in battle. Tap and hold each one before you use them to see all of the details. All of them either have an effect on your character, the enemy, or both, in addition to the damage that they already do. Plus, some take more stamina than others to use.

There are loads of ways to upgrade your characters. One of them is to go to the ability section and use your ability points to purchase new moves – or simply to switch moves in and out that have already been purchased or won from other power capsules.

Whenever you are bored or need something to do, then go to the tasks area so that you can find things to do to earn a reward. The standard Tasks tab is open right from the beginning. The Daily and Spec Ops tasks open up a little later as you increase your commander level by completing missions.

Not only can you go back and pick the mission chapter by hitting the Missions button on the main screen, but you can also select the difficulty. Beat Normal and you will unlock the Hard mode. Complete the chapter on Hard and you will unlock Heroic mode. The harder the difficulty level, the better the possible rewards that you can earn.

Gold is the premium currency of the game. You can get free gold from several of the tasks and as mission completion rewards, and then use it in the store to buy more power cells. Save up your gold as more expensive power cells are far more worth it than cheap ones, even more than several of the cheap ones put together.
