Mutants: Genetic Gladiators is Kobojo’s latest smash hit game for the iOS, Android and Facebook gaming platform. Picture Dragon City, but with mutants – your goal is to breed and raise mutants, then battle them against other mutants, level them up, breed them into rarer and rarer mutants, and so on and so forth. Read on for some tips and tricks for Mutants: Genetic Gladiators!

Being that this is a Facebook game, there is a major social element to the game, which is missed out on if you are either not linked to Facebook or you don’t have any other Facebook friends that play the game. If you want to find more friends, post your info in the comments on this article, on Facebook, the App Store reviews page, etc.

Another reason to do this is that the more Facebook friends you have who play the game, the more tag team attacks you get. Since tag teams are limited unless you have a ton of friends who play, save them for only the toughest battles. If you want to keep your Facebook only to people who you know, register a second Facebook account for gaming and use it to add people who play the game.

Also, there are a ton of ways to claim free gifts. One source for free gifts is http://www.levelupcity.com/tips/mutants-genetic-gladiators-bonus/. Their gift page constantly updates. The gifts are first come first serve, so you have to get there quickly if you want to get the gifts.

Battles tend to go by slowly at times, so tap the “speed” button in the lower right corner of the battle screen. You can choose from 1x, 2x and 4x. Putting it on 4x is a great way to level up rapidly, or is just a great way for impatient people to finish their battles.

Battles cost passes, though, so wait until you use up all of your passes to start breeding. Do as much breeding as possible, though, to maximize your chances of earning rare mutants. If you get a rare mutant, sell one of your common mutants to make room for it, and then go back to old battle stages to level up your brand new mutant to bring it up to speed with the other ones.
