The same thing is true for any crafting or farming that takes time. After you go to the game and collect what you need to collect, go back to the time settings on your phone and set the time back to normal and go back to the game, and you’ll still have everything you gained from the time lapse cheat.
Need more wind energy for building construction? Purchase more decorations. For the most bang for your building space, the little lighthouse and gazeboes are your best bet, but for the best bang for your coins, the fountains and small gazeboes are your best bet (at least for the stuff that costs coins). Stuck and can’t figure out what to do next? Go to the quest menu and start completing as many quests as you can. They will gradually get you spun up on what to do and where to go next in your island, as well as on how to unlock new islands to sail to, and new things to build.
