Puzzle Number 9: Tips, Tricks, Cheats and Strategy Guide

Puzzle Number 9 is a new puzzle game from the 2048 and Threes school of gaming for the iOS platform, probably coming soon to the Android platform as well. The goal is first, to combine smaller numbers in order to make 9, and then to start combining the 9’s together to make larger numbers. Read on for some tips and tricks for Puzzle Number 9!

You can combine as many smaller numbers as you want in order to make the number 9. They can be any combination of any other number on the board, ranging from two 4’s and a 1 to a 6 and a 3, and anything in between. You can even combine nine 1’s if you have that mixture of numbers on the board.

Once you do that, it turns into Threes from there, with one major difference: you can match side to side, up and down, or diagonally in order to combine two multiples of 9 that are equal and that are in proximity to each other. You have flexibility as to where the numbers are in relation to each other, so take advantage of that.

Make sure to put an 8 and a 1 together if at all possible. If you put those together, both of those numbers will then turn into 9. If you put any other combination of numbers together, then the last number that you swipe over will turn into a 9. All of the other numbers will become a number 1 digit higher than what they used to be.

Be judicious with your Undos. The game won’t tell you this, but once you use all of them, the only way to get more is to purchase more of them, and since there is no in-game currency, the only way to purchase more of them is with real life money through the app store. If you want to get them back for free, then delete this game and then download it again and your 25 Undos will all have come back.

If you want to get rid of all of the ads, then all that you have to do is go to the settings on your phone and turn it to Airplane mode, or go to the data and the wifi settings and turn all of them off. Either that, or you can purchase a free permanent ad removal for 99 cents or purchase an ad removal plus get more undos for 2 dollars. If you delete the game and then reinstall it after your purchase, hit “Restore purchases” in the options menu to get them back.
