Rise of Darkness is a new action-RPG for the iOS and Android platforms. This game, despite its lousy English translation, is a surprisingly high-quality hack and slash game, with graphics that take full advantage of the Retina displays on later Apple products and hi-res displays on high end Android phones. You can hack and slash your way through countless stages, collecting gold and gems and building up one or many characters with a nearly endless array of weapons. Read on for some tips and tricks for Rise of Darkness!

Each time that you beat a stage, you can go back to the stage later on and use mop-ups in order to beat it again instantly. Use one at a time for free, or use five at a time with royalty privilege (similar to VIP status in other games). Use all of the mop ups that you earn in order to gain rapid levels and a ton of gold.

These earn you more equipment too, since earning equipment in battle is your primary way of getting it aside from buying it. Take your equipment, look for that which has the most rarity, and then equip it. You’ll want to look at the base power, not the upgraded or forged power.

Forge it later once you are sure you have the rarest or the most special equipment. Use forgement/spirit/enhancement stones (you can never tell the real name with this game) and gold in order to max out the forge level of all of your equipment. Take your old equipment and unsyn it and the equipment will disappear, but you’ll pull enhancement stones from it that you can then use on the equipment you want to keep.

Don’t forget about good old fashioned strategy with battling. Save your demon transformation until the boss or until an especially tough battle. Use hit-and-run tactics with fighters who are tough, especially when you have a range fighter as a character. When faced with a huge horde, run in circles to get them to follow you and group up together, then slice through them all at once.

Join up with as many friends as possible in order to trade friendship points, which can then be used in the shop to buy more goodies. If you want to find more friends or more people for your guild, post them in the comment section here or check the App Store review page, or the Google Play store review page.
