Your goal, and the long and short of the gameplay, is simply to avoid the spikes and to climb up the stairs; however, there’s a bit more to it than that, though. Hit the small circle on the stairs to make a perfect jump. And watch out for the stairs that move from side to side as the scores increase throughout the round, and as you climb further up the staircase.

There are many challenges that have been added to the game since it first came out. The first challenges are the normal ones, while the ones after that are perfect-jump-only. Do these first because they are tough but they are SO worth it if you are trying to go for a high score. Complete five or more of these challenges and you will be ready to do wonders on the endless rounds.

The other two types of challenge rounds are reverse controls and upside-down levels. Reverse controls are as they sound – left is right and right is left. Upside down, of course, is self-describing. If you find yourself doing better at one than the other, then take your worse one and flip the screen upside down with rotation lock on. This transforms upside-down into reverse-controls and vice versa.

You can earn gems in the round as you play, but if you go for the gems, you’ll often end up distracting yourself from the perfect combo. Instead, go to the ball select screen and if you have an internet connection, you will be able to watch an ad video for 20 gems at a time. You can watch as many of these videos as you want, so watch them until you have enough cash for a new ball.

You can switch the game into night mode by going to the options menu and hitting the moon button. This will turn the background dark, making the game easier on the eyes at night. You can also change the haptic control and music settings. Also, you can unlock balls for free by hitting the Facebook and Instagram buttons inside of the ball select screen, or by unlocking 16/32/48 (multiple of 16) challenges.
