Star Wars: Assault Team Cheats and Tips: The Strategy Guide, Page 4

-Know your enemy before going into any arena battle. Almost everybody is going to have Han Solo in the party, and he’s going to use his lucky shot against you right off the bat. Pre-empt that by powering your Han Solo up as high as you can with training, and then lucky-shotting the other player’s Han Solo first.
-They’ll usually also have a Chewbacca and an R2D2. Their Chewie will usually use Wookiee Rage, therefore it will end up dead quickly. Their R2 can be disabled by having your R2 use disrupt for two turns. Then kill it last, since it’s of no harm to you at that point.
-Try to never go past the first arena battle for awhile, unless you already have a powerful team and are just starting arena play (since the more wins you get, the tougher it becomes). Just fight the first battle in the row over and over to collect bounties slowly but surely. Then spend them on super rare heroes when you have enough of them.
-You can restore your energy for free by increasing your rank (by gaining enough experience to fill the bar). Otherwise, you can spend Corusca Gems to restore your energy once you run out.
-Look for new special missions to pop up every day. Saturday, as previously noted, is where you get the special smuggler missions. Sundays are where you can play the Credit Run (missions that earn you loads of credits). That’s just an example of what pops up on different days.
-On Sundays when the credit run mission pops up, play them as many times as possible, load up on credits and start buying silver crates until you’re stacked with Tier 3 heroes right off the bat.
-Once you promote one of your heroes, start training them immediately. Their level will reset to 1, so the next 4-5 levels will come extremely quickly.
-If you are looking for a specific piece of promotion equipment for your hero but you can’t seem to find it in the appropriate special mission, the only thing that’s left to do is to grind, playing the appropriate stages over and over until it pops up, since the rewards per stage are different every time that you play it.
