Star Wars: Commander is a wildly popular new strategy game based on the Star Wars franchise, but more comparable to Clash of Clans as far as gameplay goes. As important as offense is, defense is equally important if not more so. Without a good defense, you will have other players stealing your resources constantly and dropping you further and further down in the rankings. Read on for some tips to put together a perfect defense in Star Wars: Commander!

There are many important factors to have a good defense, but the basics always begin with the walls. Walls are important in any game of this tonight, but especially in this game because the artificial intelligence of attackers is really stupid, and they will attack walls even if there are holes in them. However, make sure there are no holes in your walls, because whenever this glitch is fixed, you do not want to be caught with your pants down.

As you upgrade your headquarters you will be able to build more and more walls. Always have maxed out numbers of walls, and upgrade them as high as you can in order to increase their hit points, and thus their ability to block attackers. Put as many buildings inside of your walls as possible.

There are multiple ways to organize the walls. You can either put walls around each individual important building, or you can cluster them altogether and surround them with walls. Or you can do a combination of both. Important buildings are your headquarters, of course, as well as your alloy refineries, alloy vaults, credit markets, and credit depots. None of the other buildings in your base are all that important for anything other then damage percentage.

Walls are practically useless without gun turrets though. Always max out your number of gun turrets. Put these within the walls so that it’s more difficult for enemy fighters to get to them and destroy them. Make sure that they’re separated from each other so that they are in range of every important building in your prayers, and every building period, if possible.

Cluster your buildings together as tightly as possible. Make sure that your headquarters are in the center or as close to the center as possible, because it is impossible for rivals to gain more than one metal off of you without destroying your headquarters. If they destroy your headquarters, that’s one instant middle of it they are, And it makes it easy to earn two or three medals as well.
