Whenever some traveling investor shows up, he’s investing in your company and he wants you to tap as quickly as possible. You’ll see the bar graph appear at the top of the page, and the earnings are what fill it. Earn that money before the investor leaves in order to get bonus rewards, and to complete achievements for gems.
Other times, a traveling salesman will show up. These are the guys that offer to sell you furniture sets, and when you buy a set from them, your entire office will change. Go to the furniture menu and at the top of the store area, a pop up will show you how long until the traveling salesman comes back. The things he or she sells are exclusive – none of it can be found in the store itself.
Some of the furniture is useful, but most of it is functionally useless. Go to the Fortune Spot area of the furniture store to find two useful options. The Coin Flower costs 100K coins and will earn you 100 coins per hour. The Futuristic Robot costs a whopping 700 gems, but in exchange, will give you 10 gems every three hours. You can make this investment back in two or three weeks while playing the game, and then anything after that is pure cake.
Even if you don’t want to change out the furniture, getting rid of the boxes will make your office look far more professional. If you want to get rid of the boxes, go to the furniture menu, then go to the Entertainment menu and find “paperwork boxes”. Then hit remove and the boxes will disappear, leaving your office with a nice clean kitchen.
Try to open every piece of mail that you get, even though some of the bonuses can be a bit lame sometimes. This is one of the many actions that earns you a massive amount of gems if you do it enough times, that’s listed in the achievements menu.

For trading stocks, you can either buy the maximum of a specific stock, or buy a specific number of shares. To increase the maximum that you can buy, level up your Stock Trading License. The more that you level it up, the higher the buy maximum that you can pull off.
