Pets have two different types of attacks – one ordinary attack and one charge attack. The ordinary attack happens automatically, after about once every 25 taps. The charge attack happens manually. You will see your pet rise up then three white hollow balls will appear around it and as you tap, the pet will charge up. Once all three of the white balls are full the entire pet will glow white. Tap the pet to use the charge attack. You don’t have to use it right away; if you choose not to, then save it for the next brand new enemy or for a new boss.
Be sure to upgrade the Fire Sword and the Midas Touch (especially the Fire Sword) as soon as you are able to do so. Upgrading the Fire Sword for the first time will increase the multiplier from x10 to x40, making it a stupendously powerful spell for just two more mana per use. As for the Midas Touch, more gold is always good, just in general.

Skill points are one of the rarest things to earn in the entire game. You earn skill points when you prestige, but you earn them each time that you beat the boss on a brand new stage (one othat you have never played before) that is a multiple of 50. You earn your first two at 50 and 100, so you earn your next ones after beating level 150, level 200, and so on and so forth. If you want to change your skill distribution later, you can spend 35 diamonds in order to do so.
Achievements are the main way to earn free diamonds in this game, but there are a lot of other ways that you can load up on free diamonds. Go to the in-game store and hit the Twitter and Facebook links for 50 free diamonds apiece. If you go to the settings and then Accounts you will be able to sign into Facebook for an extra 100 diamonds, or sign in via Game Center for an extra 50 diamonds.
Before you use a last-minute pre-prestige Make It Rain, through, exhaust all of your mana and use Fire Swords to beat as many extra bosses that you can. Do the same thing before accepting any coin gifts as a daily reward, too. The higher the stage you’re on when you make it rain or when you take your daily coin gift, the more coins the gift or the purchase will be worth.
When you join a clan, make sure to play in the clan challenge every day so that you can increase the clan multiplier as much as possible. If you have a lot of gems, there is also an option in the store called the Clan Crate, which gives the equivalent to a “Make It Rain” to your entire clan. Try to convince your clan to go all in on an option like this so that you and everyone else in your clan can get rich quickly.
