Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Legends is a new iOS and Android game starring everyone’s favorite ’90’s heroes turned 2010’s heroes. Your goal is to unlock heroes and quest through the city, knocking off villains, gangsters and other bad guys and completing chapters of the story. You need all of the required pieces of a character’s DNA in order to unlock them from the roster. To see the locations of a specific character’s DNA, go to the roster and tap on the character, and then tap on the “Find” button. You’ll bring up a list of chapters and missions where you can find this character’s DNA as a drop reward. Characters can also be found in specific card packs.
Characters can gain experience levels, but they can also increase in star rarity. Experience is simple; either earn it in battle or use the Mutagen that you earn from daily missions to level them up. To increase a character’s star rarity, you will need to earn all of their DNA again. Once you have all of the required DNA again, go to the roster area to up their star tier.
To upgrade a character’s skills, you need a set of specific ingredients. Tap on the character and press the ‘skills’ button. If an ingredient is missing or you don’t have enough of it, then tap the ingredient to bring up the list of stages where you can find the ingredient as a drop for this character. You can also find these ingredients in card packs, as well.
When you are backtracking to a past level to farm for items and DNA, or simply to increase experience levels and earn mutagen, go to the hard version of the level. The difficulty won’t be that much worse, but you can earn more drops as a reward from the hard levels. Just be sure that your characters’ levels are upgraded. Complete daily missions and then increase their levels to match your player level, since character level cannot go above player level.
Greenbacks are the premium currency of the game. In order to earn more greenbacks, go to the daily missions and complete them. You can also earn more experience and Mutagen, as well as warp passes, which allow you to instantly beat a past level without having to play it again, just as long as you have already earned three stars on it.
