Your goal in this game is to go as far as you can, collect sweet honey and honeycombs, and then use them to unlock everything from power-ups for Mowgli to concept art and other exclusives relating to the new Jungle Book movie. One of the main things that separates the collection of sweet honey from other games is that in this, like Sonic the Hedgehog, if you smash into an obstacle you lose your honey. You don’t lose all of it, you lose some of it, and if you hit an obstacle with no honey, you die. So if you are going for a high score, collect honey to use as insurance.
However, if what you want is honey itself, avoid obstacles, collect honey, and then when you have enough for some power-ups, intentionally die by falling off or some other method that doesn’t involve tripping. You’ll die, you’ll lose no honey, and you will be able to purchase power-ups before the next round.
The first power-ups to buy are the “honey tastes sweeter” ones, as they will increase the value of every piece of honey that you get. In addition, the sticky honey drops and super honey drops contribute to your earnings and pay for themselves fairly quickly as well. Super honey drops unlock big honey drops worth 50 honey apiece, and sticky honey drops will unlock the honey magnet power-up.
If you log onto Facebook, then you can ask your friends who play the game for free honeycombs; make sure to send them back when they request them, as well. Go to the honey upgrade store and scroll to the bottom to see all of the honeycomb prizes. These include posters and concept art from the movie.
Tap on the targets that pop up when you are running to hit the enemy and keep running. If you don’t do it in time, you’ll get knocked down to a lower level of the stage, and if you miss enough times, you’ll die.
At the end of a run, you will see an offer to watch a video in exchange for a free restart. Do this if you are going for the high score. If you are going for more honey, then it doesn’t make much of a difference if you watch the video or simply start another round from the beginning.
