Throne Rush – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats, and Strategies

Throne Rush is a new medieval-themed take on the Clash of Clans-style of gameplay from Progrestar. Your goal in this game is to turn your kingdom into a gold and food-producing powerhouse, train loads of troops, and go through the quests as well as battle against other players for reputation and resources. Read on for some tips and tricks for Throne Rush!

The single fastest way in the game to have more battle success is simply to increase the size of your army. Increase the level of your headquarters to do this. Every time that you upgrade your headquarters, your housing size increases by 20. Even just loading up with 40 knights can be surprisingly effective when you have this many housing units. However, upgrade your barracks to unlock new troops.

Change your battle strategy around depending on who you are fighting. Sending in a massive crew of knights only works for a certain time. Once you get goblins you can send them in to attack the storages while your knights distract defense towers, or (even better) orcs. Elfs can attack from a distance, allowing them to avoid some defensive towers. Trolls have tons of health, and can take tons of hits while your other troops do their jobs.

Eagles are a good air unit, and mages do a ton of damage with each attack. Wraiths can target defenses just like orcs, but are more powerful. Ents and Dragons are so powerful that they make it an almost complete unfair fight.

Defensively, put your buildings as closely together as possible. Not only does this make it easier for you to get every building within range of your towers, but it makes it very easy to surround the entire city with walls, even multiple layers of walls if you so choose. Try to put your castle, your mines, windmills, barns and treasuries as close to the center as possible so that they have extra protection time from your towers.

Upgrade your windmills faster than your mines, because you’ll use so much food from constantly rejuvenating your armies. Upgrade your barns and treasuries as soon as possible, maxing them out as soon as you can (you increase the max by upgrading the castle).
